Slovenia 4th day

We spent the Monday in Ljubljana, commencing with crossing the Butcher’s Bridge on which many “love padlocks” adorn the bridge, placed there by lovers as token of their love. After that we went to the old town and on the way called into the Ljubljana Roman Cathedral of St Nicholas (katedrala Ljubljana), like the other church, it is a truly magnificent building with a baroque interior, including gilded columns and ceiling frescoes.  After we went to the second half of a concert in the underground concert hall, although I cannot remember what is was called. From there we walked to the National Museum and enjoyed an enjoyable afternoon in the museum, which featured lots of different facets of Slovenia over the years.
