Stirling Castle

On my recent coach trip to Pitlochry my fellow passengers and I had a day out in Stirling.  the last time I was there was in 1968 when my late Scottish wife and I were ‘courting’ and had a day out there.

I could not remember much of it from then but spent most of my time there in Stirling Castle.  I bought the audio guide which was downloaded via a QR Code to my mobile phone.  The commentary was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the castle.

  • Loch Tay

On my second day I drove through Aberfeldy to Kenmore where I took the photos of Loch Tay and some picturesque houses in that small village.  I journeyed on down Loch Tay and returned via Lochearnhead and Crieff, which was a more ‘central belt’ town than I previously imagined.
